This month...we have some comments about the Apple II line from Al Martin at The Road Apple.

As a result of The Round Table, I've begun formulating a campaign plan for the Apple II line. Given that Apple, Inc. has more than made back their initial investment in the production of the Apple IIe and IIc, I suggest they try to blitz the market with advertising and severly reduced IIe's and IIc's. The two line can be used as either an entry level computer or as one that can be enhanced infinitum. These same users will be surprised by what an Apple IIe/c can do and one day I am sure we can welcome them to the IIgs realm. The II line can easily compete with the clones out there and certainly the Mac. I am going to use this as my theme in the next Road Apple and hope we get some results.
